Hello! I am Yuxin Bao, a Master's student in Agronomy and Seed Industry at the College of Agronomy and Biotechnology, China Agricultural University, advised by Prof. Fei Yi.
My research focuses on Crop Physiology and Cultivation and Crop Chemical Control. In particular, I study the mechanisms regulating maize grain filling and dehydration, as well as the molecular basis of efficient chemical regulation for stress resilience in maize. I aim to develop scientifically sound chemical-regulation strategies that optimize grain dehydration during late-stage development, thereby improving grain quality, stress resilience, and yield stability.
Beyond research, I also like to leave some time for myself—to take a walk, listen to music, watch movies, or simply have a chat with friends. To me, research is a process of continuously seeking answers, while life reminds me to stay curious and remain attentive to the world around me.
I am aware that I still have much to learn, and I am actively seeking opportunities for academic exchange, research collaboration, and Ph.D. study. If my research resonates with you, I would be glad to hear from you.
